At Queensland Fruit & Vegetable Growers we pull together the voices of over 100 commodities across all Queensland growing regions to have a loud, strong and unified voice to government and other stakeholders.

QFVG represents the interests of members at a State and National level through the following memberships and association:

QFVG is a Council Member of the National Farmers’ Federation (NFF) Horticulture Council.
The NFF Horticulture Council is the preeminent forum for deliberating and forming policy concerning our national horticulture industry. It was established in 2019 and is now comprised of over 20 national community and state peak horticulture bodies, who together represent the full breadth of an incredibly diverse industry.
The Council develops policy positions on common issues of national importance to the horticulture sector such as trade, workforce, biosecurity, farm business, climate change and sustainability, markets and competition, R&D, telecommunications and infrastructure.
The Council meets formally quarterly and additionally as required.

QFVG is a Member Organisation of the Queensland Farmers’ Federation (QFF).
QFF is the united voice of agriculture in Queensland representing the interests of peak state, national and regional agriculture industry organisations.
Through our membership with QFF, QFVG members benefit from advocacy and policy support on state wide and cross-sector issues.
QFF also partners with companies important to the Queensland agriculture supply chain. Through these partnerships, farmers who are members of QFF’s peak industry organisations can access discounts for products and services.

The Queensland Horticulture Council (QHC) is the forum for sharing and deliberating horticulture issues and policy in Queensland. It is comprised of representatives from each of the major regional grower groups and associations and supported by the QFVG as the state peak body which also acts as the Council's Secretariat.
The QHC meets quarterly with the Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries Mark Furner.
