CONCETTA (CONNIE) TAYLOR
Casual director from 29 February 2024.
Fourth-generation family enterprise, Taylor Family Produce has been producing and supplying leafy green vegetables to Central and Easter-Seaboard markets since 1914. The business has two operations allowing them to supply year-round – their summer farm in Amiens on the Granite Belt and winter farm located at Kalbar in the Scenic Rim.
Connie Taylor, who holds a Diploma of Agribusiness, has been managing the family business since 1999. As the business has grown, her role has evolved to meet demand, incorporating compliance, environment, governance, and human resources. In her spare time, Connie serves as an integral and active part of the Granite Belt Growers Association. Connie has sat on the executive committee since 2020, and in 2023 was elected to the role of President, a challenge she has embraced and advanced through her collaborations and advocations.
Taylor Family Produce is heavily involved within the community, offering support and sponsorship to local sporting and community groups as well as local events such as the Snowflakes Festival, the Apple and Grape Festival, The Stanthorpe Show, and local rodeos. Connie recently participated in the World’s Greatest Shave, where she raised a staggering over $21,000 for Leukaemia and the Taylor Family hosts “The Biggest Morning Tea” on their farm annually in support of the Cancer Council.
