Cost of production tool
QFVG will work closely with industry to develop an online, customisable, best practice template for Queensland growers to ensure the full and adequate capture of true cost of production - a fundamental negotiation tool.
This data will be used to educate and highlight which commodity groups are most at risk of an unsustainable future via a traffic light system.
Horticulture pricing data
Working with Fresh Logic, QFVG will develop an online pricing dashboard featuring 20 Queensland-grown commodities.
The dashboard will include weekly national and Queensland retail and wholesale market prices, including seven years of historical data to arm the industry with robust, credible data to help manage supply, assess changing demand, potentially maximise price and forecast for planning.
